German Machine Tools of America was founded in 1991 as the U.S. subsidiary of Profilator GmbH in Wuppertal, Germany and based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Today GMTA represents various lines of German machine tools and metal fabricating equipment.
Applications include gear cutting (scudding/skiving), parts washing, laser welding & cutting, multi-station vertical turning machines. Additional offerings include multi-spindle horizontal, deep hole drilling, gun drills and traveling column machining centers.
